RAINY GAIN FOR A RAINY SEASON!

It’s a rainy month and we experienced heavy rains all throughout the country.  A gain for a plant to grow and a gain also for reaching a child to grow. We thank God for there's a rain which showers us God’s blessings.

We are so happy that our good news class has brought children’s enhancement in the barangay where we lived in Olongapo City.   Additional of our good news club program, we also conducted free tutorial services with our good news clubbers. The children visited us every other day in our boarding house right after their school class. We’d help them to learn more on their academic subjects. It’s a gain that while we tutor them academically they learn more spiritually.  We witnessed their eagerness to learn more about God right after their conversion. One of our good news clubbers name CJ  has asked us a question, “ Is it true that I’m going to heaven someday?” what a wonderful question. We counseled, CJ and his friends assured to their salvation as the Bible says in John 1:12 that they are children of God because they accepted Christ, someday they will meet the Lord Jesus in heaven happily ever after.
It’s a glorious gain that we also opened ESVEC for preschoolers in  Joy in Life Kiddie Center at Sta. Rita Olongapo City. We disciple 50 preschoolers regularly with three classes. The kids enjoyed our teaching with a great joy to their parents who are watching them in school. The kids wants us to teach them everyday but we said that it should be once a week, so we can do the other activities. They love our teaching in a simple but a challenging way of guiding them into Christian living. Praise be to God that our ESVEC request has been approved by the City Schools Division Superintendent Olongapo City DepEd Division office. On September 16,17,18 we have three different ESVEC orientation and Seminar from 3 churches. Hoping and praying to gather more volunteers and opens 3 schools: (Balic-Balic ES, Tabacuhan ES, East Tapinac ES).

We also have the opportunity of evangelizing Aeta’s children in San Antonio, Zambales last August 25. We visited Little Voices Christian Elementary School in San Antonio. A school for the less fortunate children where majority of pupils came from Aeta’s Tribe. We praised God we reached 70 pupils through Evangelistic Campaign 50 pupils  received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. And also through Godman Film Showing we reached 53 pupils  and all of them received the Lord Jesus. A rainy season but were moving forward as we gaining souls for the glory of Christ. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Praises and Prayer Concerns:

June-July 2011

Season of rains has started these months. Whatever the season it is, God showers His grace and loving mercy toward His children. He never changed, His grace is  sufficient to our ministry here in Olongapo. Right now we are enlarging our ministry opportunity by seeking more connections & promotions at the same time.

We first visit the church (Church of the Risen Christ)  where the chairman (Pastor Jessie Lee Viloria) of Olongapo City Ministerial Association (OCMA) served as pastor. We’d meet him last July 24 as we ask a favor to  promote our CEF ministry to their OCMA monthly meeting. Thank God the request  were granted. I joined the meeting and I was given  to a five minutes CEF promotion to more than 40 pastors and workers. It was a positive response among of them. Some of the pastor contacted us for training. One of the church requested for Teacher Training Class was the Reborn Christian Ministries Inc. in New Cabalan, Olongapo, it was started last July 30 with 10 participants with expected on going trainings this August. Thank God for the 10 newly Good News Clubs as results of the on going teacher training.

Praise God for the right connections! During our visit to Church of the Risen Christ, sitting in front of us are the Area Director of YWAM Subic ( Youth With A Mission), Mr and Mrs Sonny (a Filipino) and Leslie (an American) Nabong . After hearing that we are missionaries of Child Evangelism Fellowship they invited us for a meeting. During the meeting, the Area Director get acquainted with us for our plans and future ministry partnership. They said we are indeed an answered to their prayer. They want to strengthen their children’s outreach due to lack of trained teachers and teaching materials to use. Ma’am Leslie said that she’s familiar with CEF in the states where her home church in California conducting Good News Clubs (one of CEF ministry in discipling children). God knew their need indeed! Their problem is our strength, we offer training and lending materials to them asap. Please pray for the scheduled training on September 10, in partnership of YWAM Subic.

Our yearly Mr. O day (a yearly CEF world wide events through open air evangelism every July) was a day to salvation for 29 children in our neighborhood at Sta. Rita Village Olongapo City last July 23. Twenty two of them accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It’s a joy to know that the other 2 kids was reached & saved during our Elementary School Evangelistic Campaign last February. The next Saturday, we invited them for Good News Club. Praise God for 13 children who showed up in spite of the rain, they enjoyed and participated the whole program.

We thank God because of your continuous support and prayers as we continue pioneering CEF ministry in Zambales (Olongapo City based). God blesses you for a bountiful harvest in eternity, as you partner with us.
Specific Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for our children’s ministry through Good News Clubs and ESVEC.

Praise God for the Summer Outreach Training that we conducted last April 9 and 11 in Scripture Baptist Church, Tabacuhan Olongapo City and in Fundamental Baptist Church Lauis, Candelaria Zambales. We have 48 people trained and 20 teachers responded to conduct 5 Day Clubs. We conducted eight 5 Day Clubs in Olongapo City and three 5 Day Clubs in Candelaria. We reached 394 children and 334 children received the Lord Jesus Christ. We are so thankful to our ministry partners who supported for summer ministry that we purchased 10 pieces of 5 Day Club Kit as we lend to our volunteers because they cannot afford the price but committed to teach children. We are now preparing for the follow up teacher training with our volunteers as they will disciple children for Good News Club and Elementary School Values Education Class this June.

God has purposes in every way."Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails."Pro 19:21 NIV  Monday, we decided to go to OB Gyne so it be, the doctor recommended me to have an ultra sound to my cervix, the result was attached to this article. The doctor allow us to see the embryo with its fetal heart beat through the monitor, Its alive! Nats was happily amazed when he saw the beating of the embryo. Its touches my heart when i saw it myself. We both !speechless but joyful, Nats can't stop smiling and wishing "Lord i hope its a girl..."

Please Continue to pray for us as we moved to another exciting event in our journey!

25th National Conference

We had attended our 25th CEF® National Conference in Southern part of the country, it was held in Cagayan De Oro City located in the island of Mindanao last Jan. 17-21, 2011. It was my first time to visit that part of my country; God blessed that part with missionaries who indeed sacrifice and truly trusted God’s faithfulness in reaching boys and girls. We had speakers whom God allowed speaking and one message had sent to my ears to lean on His word and perseveres on every trial that He would be sending throughout this year to be able to do things He had called me on. Strengthening the Region is the theme of the conference, God reminded every participant that the work is still much than the work we had done. Our vision is to see 120 local areas compared to 56 as of now, giving every Filipino child the opportunity to hear the gospel and accept Christ as Lord and Savior; to do this we got to have Good News Club® in every Barangay and Elementary School Values Education Class in every school.  I am blessed attending the annual conference, reminding me again to dare trust God’s power  in reaching boys and girls and heading towards the glory to the one called me into this endeavor.

Got Married!

Thanks for all the people who supported us during our very special day! God made me realized how He love the church as His bride " I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." Rev 21:2 NIV
